Ordering Policies

Minimum Orders:
Alhamra Company has no minimum order requirements. You can order as little as one case for stock items.

Turn Around Time:
Most orders ship within 24 to 72 hours plus UPS standard delivery time. We ship orders from multiple locations and transit time may vary depending on location. In the event you would like to request a rush order on any of our stock items, please call us during normal business hours at 650-225-9248 or indicate with your order. We will try to process rush orders as soon as possible.

Acknowledgment of Order:
We acknowledge all orders by e-mail or fax within 24 hours after receiving order. We will notify the customers prior to shipping if there is any missing information needed.

Prices:
We offer competitive price in the market. All prices are shown in US Dollars. Due to market conditions, prices are subject to change without notice.

Discounts:
Alhamra Company offers discounts on all stock items.

10% off on orders over $1000
20% off on orders over $2000

Samples:
We encourage you to order a sample of the item you are interested in, to avoid any return. We provide 1 FREE sample (For selected items) You will be charged for extra samples (Limit of 6 samples) according to unit price as indicated on the web page or catalog, plus a $5.00 Shipping charge. We will credit the cost of any sample to your next order if placed within 30 days. See our Sample Request page to request samples.

Shipping Method:
Alhamra Company uses UPS Ground for most shipping, unless otherwise specified by customer. We've found that UPS provides the best value and reliability for our customers. If you desire more rapid delivery, we can ship 2nd day air or overnight to most destinations. We may ship larger volume or dimensional weight orders by Trucking or other courier for cheaper price. We will contact you prior to shipping, if UPS is not being used. A nominal handling charge will be added to all orders, including those with Free Freight*. (Minimum $2.00 Maximum $25.00)

Method of Payment:
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Business checks, Cashier's checks and Personal checks. Company orders can be shipped on "open account" with authorized signature. Customers requesting Net 30 terms should download and print our Credit Application form. Once you have filled in the form, FAX it to our Credit Department at 650-553-0088. We use Dun & Bradstreet and other recognized reporting agencies to obtain credit information. Open accounts are available to established businesses once full credit has been approved. Open account terms are NET 30 days. Merchandise will not be shipped to any account more than 15 days past due, and a 1.5% finance charge per month will be charged to account 30 days past due. COD orders up to $200.00 are accepted for domestic shipments only, and a $10.00 COD fee will be added to final invoice. All orders being paid by check or money order will be shipped upon receipt of payment. A $20.00 service charge per occurrence will be assessed on all returned checks. Guarantee / Returns:
We Want You To Be Satisfied! We carry high quality products and we hope that you will be pleased with your order; however, if you receive a defective product please notify our customer service department immediately. We will replace it or refund your money within 60 days of the invoice date. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of our "stock item" and need to return, please send an email to customerservice@alhamracompany.com or call us at 650-225-9248 within 7 days of receiving your order for a return authorization code. We will accept authorized returns within 30 days of the invoice date as long as the items are unused and in the original packaging. Returns received after 30 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee (minimum $5.00) plus all shipping charges. We do not accept returns after 60 days from the invoice date. Before returning any product, you must contact our Customer Service Department to receive a Return Authorization Code.

Sales Tax:
Applicable sales tax will be charged to California State customers, unless customer provides a copy of a completed California Resale Certificate with their first order. Please download the Resale Certificate form, fill out and fax it to us at 650-553-0088.
